Seasonal pitches

  • Unfortunately, we no longer offer annual seasonal pitches at Beddgelert Campsite. We do offer winter seasonal pitches and more information can be found on our seasonal pitches page.

    Summer seasonal pitches can be requested nearby at Bryn Gloch campsite and Cae Du campsite.

  • Yes, please visit our seasonal pitch page for more information and prices.

  • All we ask is that you have valid insurance for your unit and that it is kept clean and in a good state of repair. We will require a copy of your insurance covering your outfit prior to the seasonal pitch commencing.

    You will also need to ensure full payment and a signed copy of our terms and conditions are submitted before siting a unit at Beddgelert Campsite.

General FAQs

  • Our pitches are for leisure and recreational purposes only and are unable to be used for residential stays.

    You can come for up to 21 days at any one single time with a minimum of 48hrs before you can return for your next stay. You’ll just need to sign in and out at reception each time you visit.

  • We do permit Duke of Edinburgh group bookings, but they must be made through our website booking system. Due to the small pitch area of our campsite, we unfortunately are unable to offer a rate reduction.

    All prices are based on per tent and person occupancy.

  • We do permit group bookings but they should be made through our website. We do not offer a rate reduction for group bookings and we neither can reserve any space for group bookings. All our pitches are first come, first served on arrival.

  • Of course, we want you to feel at home and comfortable with where you are siting your unit.

    When you arrive, you can select your pitch on a first come, first served basis but if you have your eye on another pitch, you can always move to it as soon as another guest has departed.

  • Electricity is only available on the hard standing pitches and not the grass camping pitches.

  • We allow fire pits which are raised off the ground and burning charcoal only. We do not permit ground fires, or wood burning in fire pits. This is for the safety and comfort of other guests.

  • Our Forest Retreat offers essential groceries, local produce, ice cream, drink and fresh chilled items. Find out more >

    Our Bakehouse opens daily between 17:30 and 21:00 for fresh hot takeaway food such as pizzas, curries, burgers and children’s meals. Find out more >

  • We offer a complimentary restricted WiFi service to all guests around our location.

    For guests who have booked onto the hard standing area, a chargeable premium connection is available and can be booked online or added on arrival.

Hard standing bookings

  • Yes, electricity is included in all our hard standing pitch booking prices.

  • All our hard standing hook up’s provide a 16amp supply for your unit.

  • We have two larger shower rooms which are suitable for those which are less able or families / individuals which require more space.
    Both rooms offer support rails and a wet room facility.

    The hard standing area is not completely flat but is generally suitable for guests with mobility scooters.

    We have one dedicated pitch for blue badge holders, which is opposite the shower and washroom facilities.

  • Yes, we offer a motor home service point to dispose of grey waste, recycle any general waste as well as refill any water tanks.

  • We do have a CDP. It is located on the motor home service point.

  • Unfortunately, due to our rural location between the Snowdonia mountain range as well as the tree canopy a TV signal may be difficult.

    You can upgrade to our Premium Wifi when making your booking to stream any online content to your personal devices or smart TV’s.

  • We are sorry, due to the varying pitch sizes and natural forest location, we allow our guests to find the perfect pitch for them on arrival.

    We are unable to offer pitch allocation due to the many varying pitch sizes.

Camping field bookings

  • No, due to the extremely limited space and to not spoil the ground for other visitors our camping field does not permit vehicles on.

    A small amount of spaces are available next to the field for overnight parking, as well as an access road to unload vehicles.

    All parking spaces are on a first come, first served basis. All remaining vehicles will need to be parked in the main car park, a short two minute walk through the camping field.

  • No, if you require electrical hook up then you can book a hard standing pitch for your tent.

    Hard standing pitches are made up of forest ground and are also suitable for tents.

  • The camping field has two private toilet and shower units as well as a pot wash. All these facilities were newly installed in 2022.

Our booking rates

Flexible rate

Even with the best laid plans, sometimes unforeseen events can mean that you are unable to take your holiday as intended.

  • Booking a flexible rate means you will be able to amend or cancel your reservation up to 12PM two days prior to arrival without charge.

  • If you cancel your reservation after 12PM two days prior to arrival (or make a reservation after 12PM two days prior to arrival and subsequently cancel it) you will be charged a cancellation charge equivalent to one night for each pitch booked.

Non-refundable rate

Our lowest available rate to stay at Beddgelert Campsite.

  • It offers a discounted price from our flexible rate

  • If selected, the booking is locked in and cannot be modified, amended or refunded in any circumstances.

  • Whilst we are compassionate to the reasons for wanting to change or request a refund to your booking, these booking types are unable to be amended or refunded.

    A choice was made at the time of booking to select a lower rate and lock your booking in for the dates requested. We encourage you to contact your travel insurance provider for assistance.

  • If you have booked a flexible rate then you can amend your booking up to 12pm four days prior to arrival. No amendments can be made within four days of arrival.

  • If you have booked a flexible rate, you can cancel up to 12pm four days prior to your arrival date and receive a full refund on your pitch.

    If you cancel within four days of arrival, you will lose the first night fee on your booking (for all pitches booked).

    If you have booked a non-refundable booking, then you can email our team to cancel your booking but a refund will not be provided.

  • If you contact us within 24hrs of making the booking, we will look to provide an amendment to the dates booked. This is subject to any price difference along with a £10 admin fee.

    No refunds will be provided.
