Our Bakehouse opens each evening and offers a tasty takeaway selection of hand stretched pizzas, curries, burgers and sides which can be ordered and collected. You can even watch the team stretching and making your pizzas!

Pre-order breakfast with our range of freshly baked pastries, or pop into the Forest Retreat for fresh fruit and yoghurts. If you fancy something a little more filling then you can also buy local produce such as bacon, sausages and burgers which you can cook yourself.

We support local businesses and would recommend that you venture out into the nearby village of Beddgelert where you'll find several pubs, cafes and eateries offering a great selection of food and drinks. Our team can help with recommendations for places to visit depending on what you're looking for - just ask!

Looking to have a great night in without cooking? Pre-order our delicious Pizza Night Pack which includes your choice of soft drink and locally produced Chilly Cow Ice Cream.

Explore on two wheels

What better way to discover the breathtaking North Wales scenery than on two wheels? The hills and valleys, open roads and forest tracks of Snowdonia are heaven for cyclists. Whether you’re an experienced off-roader or a casual peddler you’ll find the perfect trail for you.

Test your skills on the mountain paths or opt for a gentler pursuit – there is even a longer distance circuit that will take you along coastal trails and out on the open road. We have local bike hire so that you don't have to worry about bringing your own. Beddgelert Bikes is just a short distance from our campsite.

All aboard

One of the most wonderful aspects of Beddgelert campsite is that it’s one of the stops for the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway! A unique way to see the Snowdonia scenery, with a day ticket you have unlimited access to hop off and back on again at various points along the track.

The Meillionen stop at Beddgelert campsite is a short walk from your pitch and we recommend dedicating some time to taking this journey back in time. Take a trip to Caernarfon or venture to Porthmadog through the Aberglaslyn Pass. Children under 16 yrs go free with every full paying adult, dogs and bikes are also welcome.

Guided tours

Prefer to see the sights and learn the histories of an area with a little help? Enjoy a leisurely guided tour around the Pant Du Vineyard and see their orchard, mineral water source, and learn about the different varieties of vine and apple trees that they grow - adults will enjoy a sampling of their range of products too! If you prefer beer and cheese to wine and cider, try the Underground Cheese & Beer tour. With extraordinary light projections and special effects, you'll be transported to another time and place to discover how special cheddar is aged in the slate caverns whilst learning about local ales and beers.
